We are still rolling the videocollaboration now for somewhat over two years. We are Marie from Sweden, Eleni from Greece and myself from Switzerland. We did exchange backgrounds on postcard format and now each month we sketch and paint a face on those given backgrounds.

I did work on Maries Background this time I did start with some clear gesso. I have also used white gesso and black gesso, more as a paint, instead of acrylic paint. Then I went over with water colors. Besides that I have also used a Stabilo All (watersoluble) and a Posca Pen white.

I decided to get inspired by the old masters, and don’t get me wrong it is not a replica of like today a painting from Edard Manet. Rather I pick elements that inspires me. For more detail watch the video. I hope you enjoy
