Making collage from magazines and books is a fun way to explore form, shapes, design and composition. I have a large collection of magazines from fashion, to gardening, traveling and what not. And yes I have also books I use in my collages where I harvest my imagery, no bad feelings here. I use those kind of books, that end up in the landfill, or like here in Switzerland in the paper recycling. Frankly I find it sometimes hard too, to cut up books, but here where I live the thrift stores stopped taking books in. Only very specific ones and cooking books are not so much in this category.

So lately I came across this cooking book for fish in one of the thrift shop I visit often. So that sparked my imagination for a new collage. Enjoy the video.
