Ok I admit, I was a bit hesitating to write about that topic. Yes sometimes it takes several attempts until it really works. I hope I’m not the only one who paints over, sometime at any stage, sometime when I have already invested a lot of time into a painting. But it just wasn’t working for me.

Usually it means I leave the canvas for a while sitting in the studio and then suddenly just paint over. First with white and then with whatever comes to my mind. To show what I mean I have below some pictures First the finished painting (at least as so far…😉) and then from the different stages.

And no I didn’t make pictures from all stages, just some. After all I wanted to paint and not taking pictures. But I think it is a good sample, that we just have to go on and try again…
