This month’s moodboard from my Facebookgroup Bea’s Mixed Media and More group inspired me. I created a vibrant art journal page with multiple layers.

I started with some torn magazine images and a butterfly napkin. Then, I added stamped elements—some from my own stamp collection (like the dragonfly and twig), and one hand-carved stamp. To make them blend softly into the background, I stamped everything on tissue paper. Once glued down, they became beautifully translucent.

For the background, I played with green, white, Payne’s grey, blue, and red acrylics. I finished everything off with a few scribbles in yellow using a waxy China marker.
