Crow Mini Painting – A Time-Lapse Peek into My Series

I’ve always loved crows – mysterious, clever, and a little cheeky. This new mini painting (seen in the video below) is part of a growing series dedicated to these birds.

The painting you see here is a small canvas packed with personality. I used acrylics with hints of blue, purple, and black. I started with a neon pink Background to give the piece an unexpected twist. A loose circular stamp on some Tissue paper in the background adds movement and contrast.

Supplies I have used

  • Mini Canvas, deep 10 x 10
  • Amsterdam Acrylic Paint in neonpink, neutral grey, Payne Grey, Ultramarin blue, Teal green, Titan White, Umbra, Titan Buff, Titan Green pale
  • My own collage tissue paper
  • Oilbased Charcoal and standard graphite pencil

This is the second mini crow I’ve painted, and I also have a larger 40 x 40 cm version. And yes, I’m already planning a much bigger one soon!
