This week I returned to one of my favorite formats – my handmade accordion-style journal. It’s a space where I mostly work with my own products. This time, I had a lot of fun using both printables and Washi stickers, besides some paper scraps.

The background is one of my original painted papers, now available as a printable download. I glued it across the entire spread. Then I created three ATCs (Artist Trading Cards). I hadn’t made those in a while. It was about time! I used a mix of scrap paper: black cardstock for the base and white paper on top.
I wanted to add dimension and texture. So, I recycled green netting from an onion bag. Nothing in my kitchen is safe from ending up in a journal! 😉
I also used my washi stickers. I used a scaled-down version of the mermaid from my collage papers. (I printed the page 6 times smaller to get the right size).

To complete the layout, I created a pocket from a scrap paper. I colored it with Distress Inks. Then, I added a wave pattern using the wave stencil from my product release.
