For his very first project, Walter has created an absolutely magical underwater scene using elements from the Mermaid Fairy collection.
Walter’s card brings to life a vibrant fairy tale ocean where mermaid fairies swim and glide on magical adventures. He used Mermaid Fairy digital collage papers, sticker sheets, and a sentiment from the stamp set. With these, he crafted a dreamy world full of rich textures. The world also has bright colors.
The background is a stunning alcohol ink ocean, creating a fluid and ethereal underwater effect. For the ocean floor, Walter used grit paste and ink, adding texture and depth to the piece. The result? A breathtaking seascape that feels like a portal to another world!
Walter also shared a great fussy cutting tip for working with digital collage images. If you prefer no white border, simply run a light grey alcohol marker around the edges. This will blend in any remaining white areas. This subtle trick makes the cut images seamlessly integrate into the design.
