I’m thrilled to introduce my latest creative adventure—the Mermaid Fairy Collection! This new set of stamps and washi stickers is inspired by my original mixed media paintings. It blends fantasy and nature into one magical theme.
When I create a new collection, I always make more artwork than I actually use—it’s part of my process! Some of my original pieces made it into the final selection, while others remain as unique artworks in my studio. In my newest YouTube video, I take you behind the scenes. I show both the collection and the creative process behind the Art journal Page.
🌊 Creative Timelapse – Making an Accordion Journal Page
I am starting my accordion journal in this video. I use various media and techniques. I craft fish with Stazon Ink and Alcohol Ink on Overhead Projector Transparencies . These are suspended in a cut-out circle with machine embroidery yarn. I create layered backgrounds using Distress Ink on one page and Acrylic paint on a second page. These make dreamy underwater textures. I also blend fantasy elements to bring this Mermaid Fairy world to life!
And don’t forget I have a sale on the bundle for the Mermaid Fairy Collection. The sale lasts until March 3rd. You can find it here.
