Marie has done it again! Her latest Design Team project is a captivating black-and-white Art Journal page. It features an elegant mix of textures, sparkles, and creative techniques. Here’s a closer look at her process and inspiration.

Marie began her project with my A5 stencil “Magpie”. She used it in two versatile ways: as both a stencil and a template. The result? A striking and layered design that highlights the stencil’s adaptability. She shares, “I love the stencil and the template; they are so versatile.”

But what’s a bird without a friend? Marie paired the magpie with one of my Face Washi Stickers. This sticker was taken from the A5 Washi Sticker Sheet set: “Faces, Crows and more.” These stickers added a touch of whimsy and personality to her composition.

She tied it all together effectively. She incorporated one of my rubberstamps. It delivered the perfect finishing touch:
“And now that you don’t have to be perfect, you can be good.”

Oh, and let’s not forget the black glitter! The sparkle adds just the right amount of drama to her page. It elevates it to a whole new level of brilliance.
