Exploring Muted Neutrals: A Journal Collaboration with Lena

I’m thrilled to share my latest video project with you. In it, I dive into the gorgeous journal handmade by my dear friend Lena. Her muted, neutral tones constantly inspire me. So, I decided to embrace that aesthetic in my own collage work.

In this session, I started with a mix of magazine pages. I layered them with fabric and lace to build a textured background. I added die-cut branches and flowers in white to give a delicate, ethereal touch. One of my favorite additions is a small heart made from air-dry clay. I created it quite some time ago, and it felt like the perfect accent for this page.

The finishing element is a quote from my downloadable PDF file, which you can find on my Ko-Fi page. It’s a small reminder of the power of creativity. Little pieces of inspiration can come together in unexpected ways.

If you want to see the process in action, be sure to watch the full video on my YouTube channel. Don’t forget to visit Lena’s channel, too. She transforms her pages with her signature muted style.
