Hello, creative friends! Today, I’m thrilled to share a new art journal page I created for the Artsy Trio collaboration. This month’s theme is “Travel the World,” and it’s one of those themes that instantly sets my imagination on fire. 🌍
I went for a layered approach. I combined printed tissue paper, a torn magazine picture of a charming stack of suitcases, and a hint of map. This brought that well-traveled look. I added some distress ink for a touch of vintage warmth. Then, I used my Bea and Beni silhouette stencil with black Gesso. This created a bold focal point. The final touch? The word ‘Discover’ as a reminder to embrace the journey!
This video marks our second-to-last Artsy Trio project with the mood boards we have been sharing on Facebook. But here’s the exciting news: Marie and I will continue our mood board fun.
