Today I have a little Mini Painting on a Mini Canvas. I did paint several samples for an upcoming class at CREAFAIR, a consumer show for Art and Craft supplies. I will have a booth there and also offer a one hour Mini Workshop. So if you happen to be in Zurich, come visit me.
In the video I didn’t show the preparation for the canvas. Also they come pre-gessoed I tend to add one to two layers of gesso, just so the surface is smooth. It makes it easier to blend colors, the brush glides better on the surface.

Besides the preparation for the CREAFAIR I’m also preparing for the #The100DayProject which starts February 18th. This time I went a little gentler on myself. We still try to adapt to our new house and everything takes longer then what we wished for.😉 So my theme for this year is #100random sketches with rarely used supplies. Besides the pencil of course. I start sketches mostly with pencils, any type of pencil, just what I can grab nearby.
