Gelli Print is a monoprint technique – usually you get just one unique print, sometimes a magical ghost print on top.
It’s simple to start, very experimental, and wonderfully random.
And yes: it can be addictive – just one more color, one more stencil, one more texture…

In this 6-hour workshop (either one full day or two 3-hour sessions), we explore Gelli printing with acrylic paint and/or Distress Ink. I show both options, and you decide if you want to work with just one medium or mix them.

 What we will do

• get to know the Gelli plate and basic techniques

• build layered prints with acrylic paint and/or Distress Ink

• play with stencils, stamps and found objects

• create backgrounds for art journaling, collage, cards, tags and more

• experiment with color combinations, textures and “happy accidents”

• pull regular prints and ghost prints

• create a stack of prints to take home and use in future projects

 Materials

In my studio I provide:

• Gelli plates (various sizes to share)

• acrylic paints

• Distress Ink pads

• brayers, palettes, tools

• stencils, stamps, found objects

• papers for printing

• table protection (and floor protection if needed)

You can bring your own favorite stencils or stamps if you like.

 Pricing (Studio)

This is a 6-hour in-person workshop in my studio
(one full day or 2 × 3 hours, by arrangement).

• Price: CHF 180 per person (6 hours)

• All supplies and use of tools included

• The workshop takes place once at least 2 participants are registered

• Payment is due after the class is confirmed

• You will receive a WooCommerce payment link (PayPal/credit card) once the minimum is reached

 Good to know

This is a messy, painty class – in the best possible way.
We work with acrylics and/or Distress Ink on the Gelli plate. I provide table protection, and we can cover the floor if necessary, but please wear clothes that can get paint on them.

External Locations

Prices listed apply to my studio.
For external locations (shops, cafés, creative spaces), prices may vary depending on room fees or venue arrangements.
This workshop can be taught externally if the venue allows for a bit of paint mess and has tables that can be covered.

Eigene Lieblingsschablonen oder Stempel dürfen gerne mitgebracht werden.
