In this video, I share a page from one of my most chaotic (and beloved) junk journals. The base is a fashion catalog. It is transformed with layers of envelopes, old book pages, metallic cat food pouches, and stitched accents. The background is a rich burgundy gelli print. I created a layered collage with maps, fabric, and a stunning vintage rose image. The quote “Irreal schön” (surreal/unreal beautiful) sums it all up — beauty found in unexpected combinations.
