Sometimes, we don’t have as much time for art and crafting. But that doesn’t mean we can’t create something beautiful! Jamie has put together a quick and easy project that’s both functional and creative: a bookmark tag journaling spot.

What You’ll Need:
- A double-sided printed Collage Paper
- A scrap piece of cardstock
- EK Success border punch (or any decorative border punch)
- Distress Ink in Scorched Timber
- Heat embossing supplies (bubble stamp, anti-static tool, embossing powder, heat gun)
- A fish washi sticker

How It’s Done:
Jamie started with the printed cardstock and a scrap piece that she punched with a border punch. She glued the border around the top of the bookmark tag. She rounded the corners, making them fancy on top and tiny on the bottom. She then inked the edges with Distress Ink in Scorched Timber for a vintage touch.
To add texture, she used heat embossing with a bubble stamp. A quick tip from Jamie: always use an anti-static tool. This prevents embossing powder from sticking where you don’t want it. It’s something we all forget sometimes!
Next, she selected one of the gorgeous fish washi stickers as the focal point. A pro tip: burnish the edges of the washi sticker to make it blend seamlessly. A little extra glue ensures it stays in place. Finally, she stamped a sentiment to complete the piece.
And just like that, a beautiful and simple bookmark tag journaling spot is ready to go! Perfect for when you don’t have much time but still want to create something special.
