December is here, and with it comes an exciting collaboration that I’m thrilled to share with you all! We’re closing out the year with a special 12-video series based on our December mood board. Every second day from December 2nd to December 24th, creators from around the globe will release videos. They will showcase unique interpretations that reflect the inspiration of the mood board.

This collaboration is particularly special as it marks the final Artsy Trio mood board as we know it. I’m grateful for all the incredible creativity this project has inspired. Although it is bittersweet to say goodbye, I’m excited to share some news. Starting January 25, I will partner with Marie (Mixed Creativity by Marie) from Sweden. Together, we will be launching monthly mood boards in our Facebook group, Bea’s Mixed Media and More. You’re warmly invited to join us there for continued inspiration, community, and, of course, new projects!

For my page in this collaboration, I created a layered, textured background using gesso as a resist for Distress inks. Adding an old book page, fabric, and cardboard helped bring a vintage wintery feel. I chose one of my own winter photos as the focal point. It is complemented by paper embellishments like stars and plants. A hint of embossing powder adds shimmer.
