In this latest creative adventure, I teamed up with my talented friend Lena from Finland! I worked in a muted color palette. This choice let the textures and layers shine.

I started with a background created exclusively with Distress Ink. I used two tiny face stamps from my own collection and brought them to life with Distress Ink pencils.
To add more interest, I stamped circles on coffee-dyed paper. Then, I combined these with my washi stickers to form the figures’ bodies. I love the organic feel the coffee dye added!
To finish, I used a black Stabilo All pencil around the figures. I activated it with water for a shadow effect. This technique really makes them pop. Creating in Lena’s Journal was so inspiring. There’s talk of another collaboration next year. 😉 It might not be right in January, so stay tuned!
