In my latest YouTube video, I’m excited to share a fun project where I create a fabric doll using my new face stamps! This doll will be added to the first page of my handmade art journal, which I created from my own collage papers. In case you missed that blogpost go here

Before I made the doll above I did try out with this doll here below in blue. You can do many version of this dolls in your favourite colors too. Just give it a try. And by the way I would love to hear from you if you doing some fabric dolls too. Just tag me on Instagram @mixedmediabeagrob

Here’s a breakdown of the project:
- I stamped one of my face designs onto a piece of vintage fabric.
- Using embroidery thread, I carefully sewed around the stamped face, giving it a lovely textured finish.
- For color, I used Inktense pencils to bring the face to life.
- Finally, I attached the doll to the first page of my handmade journal, adding a ruffled belly band for an extra touch of dimension.
Supplies I have used
- a piece of a vintage fabric with a light texture
- Face stamps, find them here
- Inktense Pencils (watersoluble)
- Embroidery Thread and/or silk thread
- leftover fabric for the belly band
- label and word from my Collage papers here
