First of all I hope you had all a wonderful Christmas time and I wish you all the best for the upcoming 2024. But now back to the weekly video. Today I show the process for the backgrounds I made for the Video collaboration with Eleni from Greece and Marie from Sweden. We go with this collaboration for the third year, starting next January. We still enjoy sketching and painting faces, each one in his own style.

Now for the background I started with a large sheet of watercolor paper and did use fluid acrylic paints, first in warm colors like reds, then after drying the paint I added the blue and green cooler colors. I also used one of my stencils (you can find them here ) with some gesso. I also used my sewing machines on half of the cards. Enjoy the video!
