My #100DayProject Update: Real Life, Real Gaps, Real Drawings

Let’s be real: this isn’t a «I drew every single day without fail» post. It’s more of a «I drew a bunch, posted consistently, and gave myself grace on the hard days» post. And I think that’s okay. The #100DayProject is supposed to build a habit and spark creativity — not become another thing to feel guilty about.

Some days I skipped. Some days I doubled up. Some days I posted something old while life was happening. And honestly? I don’t regret it. Perfectionism is exactly what stopped me from doing creative projects in the past, so this time I’m doing it differently.

I gave myself one clear rule to make it easier: figures and faces only. Turns out having a focus is half the battle — instead of staring at a blank page wondering what do I even draw today, I just pick up my pencil and find a face. Will I stick to it for all 100 days? Honestly, no idea. If the ideas start drying up, all bets are off. We’ll see. 😄

Here are 25 illustrations from the first stretch of this project — figures, faces, and the occasional «what was I going for here.» Have a scroll!
