Manchmal beginnt eine Seite mit einem einzigen Zitat. Für diese Seite des Golden Thread Art Journal war es Kurt Tucholskys sanfte Erinnerung:

Ich habe verschiedene Materialien aus meinem Fundus verwendet – handgefärbtes Papier, Stoffe und Vintage-Spitze – und diese mit Elementen aus meiner Mix & Match Collection kombiniert: ein gefälschtes Polaroid, ein Kartenausschnitt und eine aus einer Zeitschrift ausgeschnittene Blume. Die meisten Schichten habe ich mit einem Klebestift aufgeklebt, für stabileres Papier habe ich jedoch Tacky Glue und für die Spitze Collall Stoffkleber verwendet. Das Ergebnis ist eine ruhige und ausgewogene Komposition, die dazu einlädt, sich Zeit zu nehmen und den kreativen Prozess zu genießen.
