Today again with a little short video for a found object art piece. Just a little insight of one of the most recent small assemblages I made. Working small is sometimes very satisfying but also challenging to find small objects that fits the theme. Enjoy
Month: February 2022
A February Look Back
A little lockback on what I was working this month and more.
Welcome back to the next collab for Artsy Trio
My take on the moodboard from Gina for the Artsy Trio. I painted and doodeled in my artjournal.
Stencil Background for ATC’s
Kathleen Mosher made some colorful backgrounds with the Circles stencil
Assemblage: From kitchen grater to funny owl
Watch me how I turn in this timelapse an old rusty grater into a cute, funny owl.
Look what Lena from Finland did with my stencils
Welcome to another post where Lena Holmström-Blankenstein uses one of my stencils in her cool artjournal page.
Peek over my shoulder
Welcome to a quick video how I lately have been inspired to paint some fuchsia. Those are one of my favourite flowers (hm I really have many favourites😉). Cause of the rather warm spring like weather I did think about summer and the fuchsias. Enjoy!
Scraps into collage
Welcome back to the second episode, where I try to empty my scrap box. Not sure about that, it seems I produce quicker scraps then what I can empty out. Maybe I need to make some collages in between without filming and just showing you some results. We will see. Enjoy for now the video down below. As for supplies I have used bits and pieces from my own papers, some washitape, but also some doilies and some snippets from magazine. The focal point is a bird/cute monster/animal? (not sure what to call it) that I did draw and paint…
Struggling with Mark Making?
Marie Linder show easy ways for mark making with my stencils and tissuepaper
Whimsical face for the videohop
On a given background I did sketch and paint a whimsical girl with just some colored pencil, watercolor and some whiteout
