Weihnachtbaum / Christmastree

Weihnachtsbaum einmal anders😉…   Willkommen bei meinem nächsten Projekt. Ich hatte diese drei dreieckigen Leinwände seit einiger Zeit in meinem Vorrat, aber ich war mir nicht sicher, was ich damit machen sollte. Nun da ich ihn Weihnachtsstimmung bin hab ich beim Anschauen plötzlich einen Weihnachtsbaum gesehen. Mit einem Stabl aus meinem Vorrat und etwas Mixed Media Papier, dass ich in Kreise für Weihnachtskugeln ausgeschnitten, und einem Stern als Spitze für den Baum, ist ein Weihnachtsbaum entstanden den man an die Wand hängen kann. Er nimmt sicherlich weniger Bodenfläche ein echter Christbaum. Viel Vergnügen mit dem Video.

Christmas tree slightly different…

Welcome to my next fun project. I had this three triangular shaped canvases since a while in my stash, wasn’t sure what to do with them. Well being in Christmas mood and looking at them I suddenly did see a Christmas tree. With a dowel from my stash and some Mixed Media paper cut in circles for Christmas balls and a star as the headpiece I made a fun tree for going onto the wall. It is certainly taking less floor space then the real onces. Enjoy the video

Für Woche 48 hab ich eine Hintergrund mit Distress Ink gemacht und dann mit Stazon eine kleine Fee gestempelt. Den Spruch hab ich auf meinem Computer gedruckt. Viel Vergnügen mit dem Video.

Es war wieder einmal ein gut gefülltes Wochenende, am Samstag war ein Collage Workshop in meinem Studio…

It was a pretty filled up weekend, Saturday there was the collage class in my studio

und am Sonntag sind wir beim Spaziergang im Wald diesem kleinem Gnom begegnet. Er wollte unbedingt zu uns nach Hause, oder so 😉… Ich hoffe ihr hat auch alle ein wundervolles Wochenende.

and Sunday we went for a walk in the forest, wher we met these little gnom. He absolutly wanted to come home with us! or so 😉… I hope you had a wonderfulweekendtoo.

Mystery Envelope 2

Willkommen zur zweiten Runde vom Mystery Envelope Challenge. Wieder hab ich  eine Gruppe von Künstlern (mich eingeschlossen) für eine Zusammenarbeit zusammengestellt, um an einem „mysteriösen Briefumschlag“ zu arbeiten. Jeder hat einen Umschlag voller meist Vintage Materialien erhalten.
Dann haben wir alle ein Video für die Mixed Media Arbeit gemach. Das Ziel ist es, viele verschiedene Kunstwerke aus dem gleichen Materialien zu haben. Es stand ihnen frei, jedes beliebige Farbeund/oder kleinere Verzierungen aus ihrer eigenen Sammlung hinzuzufügen. Vergesst nicht bei den Künstlerkolleginen vorbeizuschauen. Es hat auch da ganz spannende Ideen.

Welcome to the second round of the Mystery Envelope Challenge. Bea Grob provided envelopes for artists from around the world. In this envelopes there are all kind of goodies, mostly vintage papers, fabric and other doodads. Each of them then made whatever they came up with and did film it.

The goal is to have many different artworks from the somewhat same stash as possible. Everyone is free to use any color medium they want and add bit and pieces from their own collection.

So make sure to check out with what the fellow artists came up with by following the links down below in the description of this video. If you follow all the link and are back to my video again you have seen all of them. And don’t forget to share and give some love to all the participants with a thumb up or a nice comment.

Willkommen zu Woche 47, diesmal hab ich mit einem ausgestanztem Herz, Schmetterlingslügeln und Landkartenteile und meinen eigenen Hintergrundpapiere gespielt. Den Spruch und das Wort sind auf meinem Drucker entstanden. Viel Vergnügen mit dem Video.

Ich hatte so viel Spaß mit meiner letzten upcycleten MDF-Platte, dass ich mich entschied, eine weitere zu machen, diesmal hoffentlich ohne Tippfehler. Wiederum begann ich mit dem Schleifen der Harzschicht und dem Aufbringen von Gesso, um sicherzustellen, dass alle Farben und Papiere richtig kleben. Diesmal benutzte ich etwas Scrapbookpapier für den Kaffee Becher. Ich wünsche dir viel Spaß mit dem Video.

I had so much fun with my last altered MDF board that I decided to do another one, this time hopefully without typo. Again I did start by sanding the resin coat and gessoed to make sure that all the paint and papers stick properly. This time I did use some scrapbook paper for the cup. I hope you enjoy the video.

Herbstimpression / Fallimpression

Zur Zeit haben wir hier in der Schweiz einen wirklich bunten und schönen Herbst. Das hat mich inspiriert für eine kleine Zwischenarbeit. 😉  Weiter unten findet ihr mehr Bilder wie ich dieses Bäumchen gemacht habe. Ich glaub es ist ziemlich selbsterklärend, wenn nicht einfach fragen.

At the moment we have here in Switzerland a very colorful and nice fall. Which inspired me to do some work in beetween. 😉 Find more pictures how I did this little tree down below. I think it’s pretty self-explanatory if not just ask.

Woche 46, gut ich hatte einige Startprobleme, war gerade nicht mein Tag, lol. Aber ich war hartnäckig und habe weitergemacht. Ich wollte schon seit langem ausprobieren, ob ich Schnüre einbetten kann oder in diesem Fall Draht in Prägepulver einbetten kann. Also hab ich mit einem  mit einem gemalten Hintergrund begonnen und hab dann einen Schlüssel mit Schmetterlingsflügeln hinzu gefügt. Ich wünsche dir viel Spaß mit dem Video.

Week 46, well I did have have some start-up problems, just wasn’t my day, lol. But I was persistent and did finish it. I wanted to try since a while wether I can embed string or in this case wire into embossing powder.
